Fifth Grade

Mr. Navarro

I am a proud alum of Arizona State University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.  I am a native of Arizona, raised in Superior, a small mining town 30 minutes east of Copper Basin.  I am the youngest of four kids and have 11 nieces and nephews.  Away from the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping in the White Mountains, and supporting “America’s Team,” the Dallas Cowboys.  In my classroom, I believe that every student can learn.  I feel that my students make up the bright future and I hope to encourage their want and need for learning.

Ms. Pampanin

My name is Sarah Pampanin. This is my third year teaching at Copper Basin. I was born and raised in New Jersey, but I moved into my house right here in Copper Basin about three years ago with my husband, our six year old daughter, Miley, and our newest addition, Shea. We have a dog named Lucy too. I graduated with honors from William Paterson University and I have my Bachelor’s degree in preschool all the way through eighth grade. I love our school and I love our Copper Basin family! Go Dust Devils!

Ms. Woodside

My name is Shalee Woodside. I am a native of Arizona, living in the Snowflake area most of my life. I grew up on a small cattle ranch located in Northeastern Arizona.  I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2011 and I have been teaching ever since. I’ve taught grades 2nd-5th with a semester in 6th grade during my student teaching. I love working with students from all age levels! I’m so excited to be working here at Copper Basin!
