Mr. Fehr

I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Bill Fehr and I teach 4th grade Language Arts here at Copper Basin K-8 School. I come from a family of 2 other brothers.  I have 2 nieces and 1 nephew. This year is my 31st year of teaching. I spent ten years teaching on the Navajo Indian Reservation in northeastern Arizona and seven years on the Gila River Indian Community. I became employed with the Florence Unified School District in the fall of 2004. This is my 13th year in the District. I started at Copper Basin for four years and transferred to Magma Ranch for two years.Ultimately, returning to Copper Basin. In my teaching career, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade self-contained classrooms. I have also taught gifted education for kindergarten through eighth grade.

I am originally from the state of Iowa, graduating from Iowa State University with a BS degree in Elementary Education and Agricultural Education. I am an avid Iowa State University fan.  I bleed cardinal and gold. I received my gifted endorsement from the University of Phoenix. In May of 2014, I received my Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

Ms. Passmore

I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Bianca Passmore and I teach 4th grade Science and Social Studies at Copper Basin K-8. This is my 5th year teaching in the Florence School District. Prior to teaching I was a pharmacy technician for 11 years.

I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in 2011. I also received my Structured English Immersion endorsement in August 2012. I look forward to continuing my education.

I am an Arizona native born and raised. I have an older brother and a younger sister. I also have 3 nieces and 2 nephews. My parents are still happily married, going on 34 years and live in Arizona.  I grew up in the world of dance and performed with the marching band at varsity football games in high school. I enjoy watching movies and reading books. Most of my free time is spent with my family and my boyfriend.

Mr. David Schneider

This is my 10th year of teaching.  I have been in the Florence District for the past 3 years, but I am pleased to be starting my first year at Copper Basin.  I have been married for 10 years and my wife is also an educator in the Florence District.  My wife and I are both Arizona natives, we have lived in San Tan Valley for the past 10 years and enjoy the small town atmosphere here.  I earned my Masters in Elementary Education from ASU in 2009 and a Masters in Accounting from GCU in 2014.  I am currently working through a Masters in Educational Leadership program through NAU and will be completing my internship this upcoming school year.  In my spare time I enjoy short walks into the pool and time in the kitchen inventing new recipes.
