Hello, my name is Tuesday Jimenez. I was born and raised in
small town Florence, Arizona where I still reside. I have a
beautiful 6 year old daughter who loves school. I have
been a teacher in the Florence Unified School District for 9 years. I
earned by Associates of Art at Central Arizona College right out of High
School. I then went on to earn my Bachelor's in Elementary Education
through Northern Arizona University and graduated with honors with
the Golden Key Honor Society. I am now currently working on my earning
my Master's in Educational Leadership through Grand Canyon University online.
I look forward to many more years in the district building relationships with
the students and watching them grow.
My name is Kyle Beranek. I am the
K-4 Character Education Teacher and 5-8 Teen Leadership Teacher at Copper
Basin. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach for their dreams
through their education. I believe every child should be valued and treated
with respect. An education should empower a child and help him or her make a
positive contribution to our world.
I have been in education for over
10 years with a 3 year break in Juvenile Corrections with Maricopa County.
During my teaching experience I have had the pleasure to be a 3rd, 4th
and 5th grade classroom teacher along with teaching Physical
Education to K-8th graders.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in
Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Physical Education, both of which
were earned from Arizona State University.
My wife and I have a 4 year old,
“handful” of joy, son named Colton and a 6 year old Miniature Pincher named
Pixie. We enjoy spending our time together with various activities including:
camping, attending sporting events and anything to do with horses.
I left the best for last. I am
originally from Wisconsin so I love all types of cheese and of course, THE
GREEN BAY PACKERS! GO PACK GO!!
am a professional artist and love sharing my experience with students. I have
two self- published coloring books and many years of art and working with
children under my belt. I am a huge nerd and enjoy sharing my love of
creativity with the students of Copper Basin!
Hello, my name is Roberta Bishop and I am the librarian for
Copper Basin K-8. I received my teaching degree from Sam Houston State
University in Huntsville, TX. I can remember growing up I couldn’t wait for
summer so I could go to the library and get books to read. I also enjoy music
where I have been fortunate to teach music at Circle Cross Ranch along with
teaching piano and voice in Arizona as well as in Florida. Teaching students to
acquire a love of reading thereby opening up a whole world of wonder is a goal
of mine for this school year. I also have the opportunity to co-teach choir at
the school, which has been wonderful.
